Can I beat the queues?
Yes, at selected attractions marked in your guidebook, you go to the prepaid ticket desk where the operator will swipe your card in a special reader and you will be shown straight through. Certain attractions have "timed" ticketing. Please consult your guidebook before you visit the attraction.

Is there any benefit in buying the Pass now?
Yes, buy the Dublin Pass now and you can avail of the special online discounts (subject to availability). You can use your pass at any time within 1 year. If you book in advance, we can mail your Dublin Pass to you, enabling you to plan your visit before you arrive in Dublin.

How much can I save?
The more you see the more you save. But remember, you only need to visit as few as three attractions before you start saving money.
Example:
With a one day Dublin Pass you can start by planning your day using your free Dublin Pass guidebook (value €4.99), then use your pass to travel into the city (value €7.00) to gain entry to the Guinness Storehouse for a complimentary pint of the world famous brew (value €14.40), browse through the fabulous temporary art exhibitions at the IMMA (value €5.00), and then explore the Phoenix Park and Dublin Zoo (value €15)
With your Dublin Pass this day will only cost you €35.00! This is before you take advantage of the many offers in restaurants, theatre, tours and entertainment.

What are the attractions?
Included with the Dublin Pass is the Chester Beatty Library, Christ Church Cathedral, Guinness Storehouse, Museum of Modern Art, James Joyce Museum, Kilmainham Gaol, National Gallery of Ireland, The Old Jameson Distillery, The Shaw Birthplace and many others, in fact there are over 30 attractions in total. What are the normal costs of the attractions?
The entry costs for the visitor attractions vary and range from €5 to €15. The National Cultural Institution attractions including the National Gallery of Ireland, National Museums of Ireland, Irish Museum of Modern Art, Chester Beatty Library are free of charge. At these facilities the Dublin Pass holder receive a special offer/added value gift. The total entrance value for all the visitor attractions on the Dublin Pass is €190. If I order online how do I receive the Dublin Pass?
You can either pick up your pass at the Dublin Discover Ireland Centres in Dublin Airport (Terminal 1 or Terminal 2) or at the Dublin Discover Ireland Centre in the city centre on Suffolk Street. Or you can have your Dublin Pass posted to you. Allow 3 days (Ireland & UK) or 10 days (overseas) for delivery. Click here for details.

How does the travel work?
The trip from the Airport to the city on the Aircoach is included in your Dublin Pass. If you purchase one of the travel options with your Dublin Pass, you will receive a separate pass for the tours/transport option that you choose. When using the transport services you will be required to display your transport pass.

Can I use the Dublin Pass from the airport?
Yes, you can use your Dublin Pass on the Aircoach into the city centre - your Pass will be activated from this point.

Validity
How does my Pass work?
Your Dublin Pass is a "smart" card that is swiped through a machine each time you visit an attraction. This way you enter without paying (or given discounts with certain offers). If you select a transport option, your Pass also comes with the appropriate travel card. Your travel card is activated once you use it.

Are the 2 day, 3 day and 6 day passes for consecutive days?
Yes. For example if you begin using your 3 day Pass on a Tuesday it will be valid for the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of that week.
